Every sign-up moves the bar forward

Right under the home page cover, a small video-game-style bar shows how many members we are and how many are still needed for the next milestone: 150, then 200, 250, and so on up to 10,000. Only the stretch between two milestones is shown, so the bar really moves with every sign-up. When it comes on screen, it fills up, the goal shakes and the “Join” button lights up letter by letter. If you already have an account, the button becomes “Joined”.

A new section follows the home page cover. In the drawing, on Ipanema beach, I wonder whether a form of intelligence far superior to ours hasn't been trying to interact with us for thousands of years, while in 2026 we call it “schizophrenia”. Next to it, I imagine these really smart people who would only talk through thought to a few messengers, and humans who twist their messages of peace to the point of going to war over them. Then, despite temples and books everywhere, we compare what “schizos” go through with the ancient accounts of the messengers, and we tell ourselves that can't be it.

The headphone buttons on the cover and in the Ipanema section now work for everyone, even without being signed in, and without using up your ten free listens. If playback moves on to the next section without an account, the sign-in window opens and I explain, in my voice, why you need one.

The second button on the home page cover is now called “See the community”, and it takes you straight to the Positive Safe Space, without going through the sign-up window: the forum can be read without an account.

The introduction that opens when you arrive on the Positive Safe Space no longer makes you go through it to the end: a click outside it, or the Escape key, is enough to close it. It won't come back for a week.

At the top right of the home page cover, the menu button is now there, in white against the blue sky, without waiting for the top bar to appear as you scroll.
