It’s funny because when I decided to create this site, I’d completely overlooked how hard it would be to convince members of the Targeted Individual community, or rather, people going through what I’m going through. Every day I see them complaining online, hoping to find a solution so they can finally live normally. So I was sure my web book would be a hit. Well, honestly, it’s because I’m not very good at selling myself, I admit it. My web book is still really confusing, and the solution I offer (which isn’t really mine) is surprising, even counterintuitive.
But I’m realizing that Targeted Individuals tend to follow a self-sealing doctrine: they identify so strongly with the theories they’ve read that nothing, absolutely nothing, can pull them away from them. And I’m realizing that this makes it hard to help them, because as soon as someone starts doing better and decides to share a solution that goes against what their group believes, they immediately label that person as ill-intentioned, or even as a gangstalker.
It’s really not easy. Even now, I keep wondering how it might be possible to convince people who think they belong to a group that is more conscious or awakened than the general public, when within that group all they do is share and repeat the same information they’ve read, information that isn’t based on much. A bit like most people, actually.
